In June, Pattr attended e-Retail Fest 2022 in London, where a lineup of speakers at the forefront of e-commerce discussed trends and strategies in the space. According to Melissa Snowder, founder of multiple online health brands including Nourish3d and Script3d, says that successful online companies need to be direct and focused on the following:

One trend that stood out was the increasing importance of direct-to-consumer brands and sellers working on major platforms like Amazon. The past few years has seen an explosion in the number of Amazon aggregators — companies that buy up smaller online sellers in order to leverage economies of scale and turn them into much more profitable enterprises.
These companies, with big names like Thrasio, Perch and Unybrands, have been part of the e-commerce world for some time, but it is only relatively recently that they have hit stride and scale — and changed the Amazon seller game entirely. John Hefter, a co-founder at Thrasio, confirmed the slowdown in the acquisition space and would be looking at ways to improve operations and profits from the 200+ brands in its stable.
